LUSH | Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb

Hey Everyone!

I haven't done a Lush post since March and if you know me when it comes to Lush i seem to have a massive problem, as it was my birthday in June i managed to top up my Lush basket from generous gifts from all my lovely friends and family. Amongst the bubble bars and bath bombs there was this very generously sized product!

Granny Takes a Dip is a HUGE bath bomb, making it a very very slow dissolving product which left me hanging around next to the bath for a while waiting for it to melt away, however once i had popped it in the bath it burst into florescent pinks, blues and greens which was mesmerising to watch and made up for the long wait!

The product pushed itself around the bath tub leaving trails of different colours as it went. The only scent that really jumped out to me was the Lemon, i was a little disappointed with the smell of this product as normally Lush products have a really strong smell which you can smell on your skin hours after... this one however didn't! The outer ring of the bath bombs actually contains little parts of bubble bars which causes the above bubbles. The bath bomb left my skin feeling soft, but not the softest a Lush bath bomb has left me, the bath bomb itself was actually inspired by a 1960's clothing boutique called Granny Takes A Trip- hence it's florescent colours! If i was to try this bath bomb again i would probably add a separate bath bomb like the butterball just to intensify the scent and also to add some extra softness to my skin! Granny Takes A Dip retails at £3.50.

Have you ever tried this product? What's your fave Lush item?

DAYS OUT | IMATS London 2015

Hey Everyone!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you will know that last Saturday i attended IMATS London, this was a bloody amazing birthday surprise from my best friend and fellow blogger Life Without a Fun Sponge (It's so great to have someone who can share my enthusiasm for all things beauty!) If your not sure what I'm talking about, IMATS is the international make-up artists trade show. This place is a bloggers dream and i had to seriously control myself around all the different stands, it was amazing to see all brands in one place and under one roof.

Amongst the stands which included big brands such as Mac, Nars, NYX and Bobbi Brown. As well as stands with discounted make-up they had different competitions running throughout the day where professional make-up artists could showcase their talent - my favourite was the prosthetic make-up which was really interesting to watch. We managed to pick up quite a few bargains despite some of the que's being 2 hours long.

I loved every minute of it and would love to return! I think i might be purchasing tickets again in the near future.

Did you go to IMATS? What did you purchase?

Wish List | Pay Day

Like every other girl / blogger in the world pay day is literally my favourite time of the month. I do have a teeny problem and normally end up bankrupting myself in the first week and then spending the rest of the month not going out and living under a rock. However.. I saw a few other bloggers putting together their pay day wish lists and thought what a great idea it was. Here is my first one and i hope you enjoy!

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5

I would say my favourite items from the above are the limited addition Charlotte Tilbury matte lipstick in Miss Kensington, this colour is literally the perfect rose petal shade and I'm also really loving the high top converse in white!

What's on the top of your pay day wish list?

Jess
